Research on BestPeer was started in 1999, and the company, BestPeer was spun-off and founded in 2007. Dr. Ooi Beng Chin is the founder of BestPeer. He is also a distinguished professor at School of Computing, National University of Singapore. He obtained his BSc (Honors) and Ph.D. from Monash University, Australia.
